When Emma isn't writing copy and trying to be as cool as Don Draper, she's probably drinking coffee. Or watching RuPaul's Drag Race. Or both.

Goodbye 2015, it’s been real

Dec 30th, 2015

It’s been a great year for us at Front Page (see previous post to find out just how great!), and we were getting up to some pretty exciting stuff away from our desks as well! There were a lot of big life events among the team in 2015, from engagements and weddings, to babies and mortgages – we were a busy bunch! Here are just a few of our personal 2015 highlights…

My personal highlight of the year was in September completing the Pedal For Scotland 55 miles challenge from Glasgow to Edinburgh and raising £870 for the Somerville Foundation with Sam and Mino. Was that good I’m signing up for next year – training starts in January!

For me 2015 was the year I bought my very first flat, and I couldn’t be more in love with the big old place – especially the Christmas tree in the lovely big bay window.

Without a doubt the highlight of my year was getting married and growing baby Wham :-)

My highlight was either hand-feeding a peacock or getting a giant minion birthday cake at the age of 32. I’m such a child.

My highlight of 2015 was seeing beautiful elephants in South Africa in February…and starting at Front Page of course!! 😉

I adopted my little dog Frankie from all the way from Cyprus :)

Getting married was definitely the highlight of my year!

A few months back now the most amazing thing happened to me…

My PS4 arrived!!**

**This is a ruse; James and his wife welcomed a bouncing baby boy in September – much better than a PS4!

The highlights of my year were:

Finding out we’ll have a baby daughter in the New Year

My wee brother’s stag do (and wedding)

Selling our first flat and buying our first house

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I finally visited Paris this  year, where I saw the exceptional David Bowie Is exhibition at the Philharmonie de Paris. I almost cried the whole way round because I loved it so much!

Getting engaged!

I started working at front page and ran my first 10k this year!
