‘Tis the season to be nostalgic about the last 12 months, and here at Front Page we have a lot to reminisce about! 2015 was a particularly memorable year for us, as we celebrated our silver anniversary – and boy did we celebrate! We threw a fantastic party and exhibition at SWG3 in Glasgow’s West End for our clients and friends, where we drank original creation cocktails, took lots of silly photos and danced the night away – the perfect way to mark our 25th year in business.
Our birthday celebrations were the icing on the cake of a truly fantastic year. We completed work on the World Gymnastic Championships – one of the largest sporting events ever held in Glasgow – and designed the global website for Macmillan Education. We created a pioneering Google Cardboard app for Air New Zealand, and produced an impressive campaign for one of Royal Caribbean’s biggest ship launches in the UK, Anthem of the Seas®. Some of the team even got to experience the ship first-hand on her very first sailing from Southampton!
The new Star Wars film is taking the world by storm, and we were tasked with creating visuals for a key Disney partner, which we happen to think would meet the approval of Yoda himself! Towards the end of the year, Andrew, Jackie and Clare represented the team at the Eye for Travel Conference in Amsterdam, and we launched CLIA France, the first non-English language version of the CLIA site. We also designed mobile web solutions for Royal Caribbean and created several key campaigns for Celebrity Cruises throughout the year
In 2015, we also started working with some brilliant new clients – Busabout, Citibase and Investors in People Scotland – and the Front Page family grew by six, as we welcomed Paula, Daniel, Saeed, Ashley, Luda and Mark to the team. But there was a bittersweet end to the year as we said a tearful goodbye to our commander-in-chief and Front Page founder Flick, who retired after 25 illustrious years. She – and her furry assistant Finn – will be sorely missed.
So it’s onward and upward into 2016 we go! With a growing list of both clients and crew, we can’t wait to see what the next 12 months and beyond has in store – watch this space! Phew, after all that we think it’s time for a break, so we’re off to enjoy the festive period and hope you’re doing the same! Pass the sherry won’t you?
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the whole Front Page team!
